'Have You Seen The Body?' Tom Ford Dishes On Dressing Justin Timberlake

Tom Ford: 'When you’re someone in your early 50s, and a major global pop star who’s barely 30 identifies with your style and wants you to make all his clothes, you think, ‘I’m still valid.'
Justin Timberlake managed to do the near impossible, transforming from a curly haired, cheesy pop star in N Sync to a slick, suit n' tie wearing mega star. Justin has committed many a fashion crime, from wearing lilac lenses to bandanas and cornrows to that matching denim disaster with Ms Britney Spears. Skip a decade or two and the only style risk Justin takes is with a statement bow tie.
But what (or who) is his secret style weapon? Two words: Tom Ford. Mr JT wears his suits on the red carpet, such as at the Grammys, the Brits and the SAG Awards. Tom Ford also collaborated with Justin on the artwork for his album the 20/20 Experience and his music video 'Suit & Tie'. The pair teamed up to create made-to-measure tailoring, including eveningwear, ties, shirts, suits and accessories that a rep said was the 'focal point of the 20/20 Experience.'
Ford has now spoken out about Mr JT's style for a feature in the New York Times about Justin's impressive style evolution. Surprise, surprise the designer is not a fan of curls and cornrows, 'I happen to like the hair straighter.' But he is a fan of his bod, as he said 'Have you seen the body?'

Tom Ford dressed Justin for 'The 20/20 Experience' album

Dressing Justin Timberlake would make you feel pretty cool, and Tom is obviously proud of being the Sexy Back star's style guru. As he said 'When you’re someone in your early 50s, and a major global pop star who’s barely 30 identifies with your style and wants you to make all his clothes, you think, ‘I’m still valid.' As the New York Timespoints out Mr. Timberlake is, in fact, 32.
So what is the inspiration behind Timberlake's look? Well Cary Grant is the buzzword in the feature and apparently he grew up as a circus performer not knowing how to dress. So don't feel too bad about the denim dungarees and red leather trousers Justs. 'To say ‘Frank Sinatra’ is wrong,' Tom Ford said of his style inspiration. 'But Justin was identifying with a sort of young, Rat Pack fantasy in some way, and that is a terrific look for him.'

Nicole Scherzinger: 'I won't duet with Lewis Hamilton'

Nicole Scherzinger has revealed that she won't record a duet with her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.
The Formula One racer has been working on music as a hobby over the past few years, but the former Pussycat Doll has ruled out the possibility of a future collaboration.
"We don't really speak about doing music together," Scherzinger told Capital FM.
"I know that he loves it and it's a hobby and a passion of his - and I just support him in doing that and he supports me with my music." Scherzinger recently told Digital Spy that her new album "takes no prisoners", adding that the follow-up to her 2011 record Killer Love is very dance-influenced.

Taylor Swift's Maybe British Accent, Justin Timberlake's Return Top Grammy Moments

'Nikki & Sara Live' hosts and 'Best Week Ever' comedians break down the top moments of Sunday night's show.

A lot went down during Sunday night's Grammy Awards. From eye-catching performances to candid speeches, the show definitely delivered, and some of the funniest people on TV sat down after to break it all down.
"Nikki & Sara Live" hosts Nikki Glaser and Sara Schaefer sat down with VH1's "Best Week Ever" comedians Nick Turner and Amanda Seales to share what they felt stood out. Unsurprisingly, Justin Timberlake's return to the Grammy stage remains a top moment.
"It was great... good night, lots of stuff happened. My favorite part by far was Justin Timberlake performing," Sara shared. "He debuted a new song; he was sexy; he was dancing — one of the only ones that danced. His singing sounded great. He's back at music. I was a little embarrassed for you guys and the crew 'cause I was, like, shaking and crying a little bit. It was awkward for everyone. But I'm as happy as can be." Her fellow funny lady and co-host Nikki was on board with her stand-out moments from the night. "I thought his performance and Bruno Mars [paying tribute to Bob Marley with Sting and Rihanna] stood out among a bunch of jam bands over and over," she said. "It would go back from commercial and then it would be a bunch of dudes with beards playing the banjo. I don't even know if there was a banjo, but it felt like there was lots of banjos involved tonight. It felt like a four-and-a-half-hour version of Austin City Limits."
Beyonce, Rihanna, Taylor Swift And More Are Best Dressed At 2013 Grammys
Nikki and Sara weren't the only ones who had their favorite moments from Sunday night. MTV.com's Sara Epler shared what the fans were buzzing about during the show. "So I think some of the cool things about tonight was when Ed Sheeran didn't win a Grammy, his fans got totally behind him on Twitter. He trended, so [people] still pumped for him to kind of be out there even though he didn't win."
Fans also wondered if Taylor Swift had somehow managed to poke some fun at former beau Harry Styles during her performance. A lot of people were saying that Swift made a British accent during her spoken-word bridge on "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," changing up the lyrics by adding, "And I'm like, 'I'm sorry. I'm busy opening up the Grammys, and we are never, ever getting back together. Like ever.' "
Whether or not her accent truly verged on British, it got fans talking and, as Epler put it, "everything just blew up."
Turner noted that it was Swift's dancing in her seat that was even more memorable than all of that. "Every time they cut to her she was dancing and enjoying herself," he said. "And it seemed like she was the only one in the audience that realized where they were. But, I mostly was into theboobs and I want everyone to know that."
His co-star Seales had a shoutout for Alicia Keys, who took the stage with Maroon 5 to perform "Girl On Fire." "I liked that Alicia Keys decided to like not let us get too comfortable with her being on piano all the time, she drummed it out," she noted, before also pulling for host LL Cool J's double duty.
"And then there was LL Cool J, who is an interesting host, in my opinion," she added. "I feel like he is very classy and then he has moments where he breaks like when he decides to change hats and be a rapper just to remind us."
The bottom line, "So if we learned anything tonight, it's that you can't rap in the same hat you host in," Nikki explained.

The 30 Hottest Female Athletes To Follow on Twitter

Here are two things I definitely check out on a daily basis: hot chicks and Twitter. Two things I feel like I cannot go without. The beautiful thing about Twitter is it allows fans to interact with these celebrities, even possibly sustain a conversation with them. It might also be the only chance that some of us can converse with these smoking hot ladies.

The odds of us actually meeting someone as beautiful as Melanie Adams, the girl pictured here, in person are about the same chance Lloyd Christmas had with Mary Swanson. Therefore, following them on Twitter is our only option. For this reason, I compiled a list of thirty of the hottest female athletes to follow on Twitter. Keyword: athlete.
There are no sideline reporters, sports anchors, pseudo-athletes on my list. These lovely ladies are all involved in athletic competition. Whether it is soccer, MMA, swimming, or golf, these ladies are 10s on field and off.
The one thing I did realize while compiling this list is that Twitter is still very American. There were a lot of hotties I had to omit because they do not have a Twitter - - Maria Sharapova for example. And that’s a darn shame if you ask me!
Ok, you can start clicking now.
Enjoy!

Katie Price defends Kieran Hayler marriage: 'This is only my third one'

Katie Price has defended her marriage to Kieran Hayler.

The 34-year-old, who married her toyboy in the Bahamas on a beach yesterday (January 17), said that other stars who have wed multiple times do not face criticism.
Speaking of her new wedding joy last night, she joked: "It's only my third one. As usual, I get a hard time for my choices because I'm me - I still don't really understand why.

"This is only my third marriage. I did my own Pricey Marriage Survey and discovered I was in good company. Joan Collins has been married five times, Liz Taylor did eight and Zsa Zsa Gabor nine.

"So there! I get stick, but no-one has picked on them for all the marriages they've had."

Price also suffered a wardrobe malfunction while having photos taken with her new spouse.

Posing in a white, very revealing, low-cut halter-neck white dress with crystals along the neckline, a veil and tiara, she stood holding up her bouquet as her right boob slipped out.

The glamour girl can also be seen in The Sun posing on a rock with her skirt pulled up to her thighs and in another she's giving a two-finger salute at the camera while posing with her 25-year-old EastEnders extra stripper.

Britney Spears, Taylor Swift are top-earning women in music

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Pop star Britney Spears edged past Taylor Swift to claim the title of top-earning woman in music after bringing in an estimated $58 million from her album, endorsements and a perfume in the past year, Forbes said on Wednesday.
Country-pop singer Swift, 22, was a close second with an estimated $57 million paycheck thanks to her tour - which made more than $1 million each night - a contract with CoverGirl cosmetics, her own line of fragrances and her new album "Red."   R&B star Rihanna, 24, earned an estimated $53 million to put her at No. 3, two places up from last year, followed by Lady Gaga, 26, who slipped from No. 1 in 2011 to fourth place with $52 million.
Katy Perry, 28, the only musician other than Michael Jackson to produce five No. 1 hit singles from one album, rounded out the top five with about $45 million in earnings.
"I think people love the comeback story - Britney never really finished her run as a superstar," Steve Stoute, marketing expert and author of "The Tanning of America" told Forbes.
Spears, 31, who was No. 10 last year, earned most of her money from her latest album "Femme Fatale" and her tour, according to Forbes, which compiled the list with estimated earnings from May 2011 to May 2012.
In September, Spears became a judge on the reality TV singing show "The X Factor," reportedly for $15 million.
Despite their huge incomes, only eight of the top women music earners were among the 25 best-paid musicians, which Forbes attributes in part to career breaks to have children.
Madonna made the list in ninth place with an estimated $30 million in earnings, which did not include profits from her latest tour because it was outside the time period considered for the ranking.
Forbes compiled the list after estimating pretax income based on record sales, touring information merchandise sales and interviews with concert promoters, lawyers and managers.

Amy Winehouse wedding dress stolen: family foundation

Two dresses worn by late British singer Amy Winehouse have been stolen from her house, her family's charitable foundation told Reuters on Thursday.
The two dresses were due to be auctioned as part of charity events later this year and next in Londonand New York to raise money for The Amy Winehouse Foundation, which funds a number of concerns including children's hospices and drug counseling.
One of the Back to Black singer's stolen frocks was the dress she wore to marry Blake Fielder-Civil in 2007 and the other was a newsprint cocktail dress. Both were taken from a cupboard in her house after they had been catalogued alongside other items.
The foundation said the house had not been broken into and that a formal complaint to police was forthcoming.
The workers who catalogued the dresses after Winehouse's death had packed them away in a cupboard and discovered two were missing when they later returned to check on the wardrobe.
"It's got to be someone with access to the house," a spokesman for the foundation said.
Amy's father Mitch Winehouse was quoted in London's Evening Standard newspaper as saying that he was "baffled" why thieves had not gone for her designer dresses.
"It's sickening that someone would steal something in the knowledge of its sentimental value," he said.
Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London home on July 23, 2011, at the age of 27 from what officials later determined was accidental alcohol poisoning. There were no illicit drugs in her system.
Fielder-Civil and Winehouse had a turbulent relationship, punctuated by violent fights and reports of heavy use of cocaine, heroin and ecstasy. They were married for about two years until 2009. He also served six months in prison stemming from an 2007 assault on a London pub landlord.
The "Rehab" singer's ex-husband was put on life support in a British hospital in August after an apparent drink and drug binge.
Winehouse's family have said that their daughter beat her drug dependency about three years before her death.

Kim Kardashian brings out fans, Islamists and police in Bahrain

MANAMA (Reuters) - U.S. television celebrity Kim Kardashian brought out screaming fans, angry Muslim hardliners and police throwing stun grenades on Saturday when she visited Bahrain to launch a milkshake franchise, witnesses said.
About 100 Sunni Salafists demonstrated with banners outside The Walk Bahrain, an upmarket mall in the capital Manama, after some MPs tried to block the visit over what they called her "bad reputation", according to a local newspaper.
Thousands of fans, who had paid up to 500 Bahraini dinars a ticket, broke into hysterical screams as the 32-year-old celebrity launched the Millions of Milkshakes franchise inside the mall.
Witnesses said police dispersed the demonstrators with stun grenades as the inauguration proceeded inside. There were no reports of casualties.
Kardashian stirred controversy even before she arrived in Bahrain from Kuwait, where she opened another store last week.
Hardline Sunni Muslim MPs presented a motion to parliament calling her "an actress with an extremely bad reputation", according to Bahrain's English language Gulf Daily News.
The assembly did not vote on the motion, the newspaper said.
Many Kardashian fans tweeted their displeasure, saying the "MPs should focus their time on solving key political, economic and social issues", the newspaper reported.
Bahrain, where the U.S. Fifth Fleet is based, is trying to overcome nearly two years of unrest among its majority Shi'ite Muslims demanding political reforms and equality with the Sunni Muslims who rule the kingdom.

Rihanna to star in own U.S. fashion reality show

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Chart-topping R&B star Rihanna is delving into the world of fashion, starring in a reality television show competition that will challenge designers to make outfits for a handful of celebrities, U.S. cable channel Style Network said on Wednesday.

"Styled to Rock," set to premiere in the latter half of 2013, will feature 12 young designers handpicked by the Barbadian Grammy-winning singer.
The designers will be tasked with styling a celebrity guest on each episode, and the guest will help determine which designer moves on to the next round of the competition.
"Fashion has always played an integral part in my life and career. I am so excited to partner with Style Network and share my creative insight with these 12 designers and give them this opportunity to showcase their work," Rihanna, 24, said in a statement.
The singer will also serve as an executive producer under her given name, Robyn Rihanna Fenty. Style Network has yet to announce which celebrities will guest host or the fashion experts who will serve as mentors to contestants.
The series will piggyback on a British show of the same name in which Rihanna appeared over the summer.
The "Diamonds" singer recently concluded a seven-date globe-trotting tour in support of her new album "Unapologetic," which debuted atop the Billboard 200 album chart last week.
Style Network is a unit of Comcast Corp's NBCUniversal.

Gabby Douglas, Adele among brightest young stars -Forbes magazine

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Fashion designer Carly Cushnie, actress Kate McKinnon and videogame creator Kim Swift may not be household names yet, but they are destined to do great things and will be tomorrow's young stars, Forbes magazine said on Monday.
Along with Olympic Gold medalist gymnast Gabby Douglas, rapper Wiz Khalifa and researcher Josh Sommer, they have been chosen by the magazine for its "30 Under 30" list of top achievers under 30 years old in their fields.
They are considered the top 30 achievers in 15 categories ranging from education, energy, music, science and healthcare to sports, technology games and apps and marketing.
"This is a celebration of youthful ambition and success. These are really amazing people and they are doing amazing things. It makes you very hopeful about the world," Michael Noer, the executive editor of Forbes, said in an interview.
Many on the list, including singers Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber, as well as actresses Ashley and May Kate Olsen and fashion designer Alexander Wang, the newly appointed creative director at the French fashion house Balenciaga, are already well known.
Some are returnees to the list that was launched last year - like British singer and new mother Adele, the 24-year-old multiple Grammy Award winner, and American entrepreneur Kevin Systrom.
Noer said there has been a 60 percent turnover since 2011, so there are plenty of new faces on the list drawn up by Forbes staff and industry experts.
"I think there are a lot of interesting names on the list," he said.
In energy, it is 28-year-old Leslie Dewan, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology graduate and co-founder and chief science officer of Transatomic Power.
"They are developing a new type of nuclear reactor that uses nuclear waste," said Noer.
In music, Pittsburgh-bred Khalifa, 25, topped the list. Swift, the 29-year-old creative director at Airtight Games, was noted for creating hit videogame Portal.
"Kate McKinnon, the actress from 'Saturday Night Live' who just joined in April is our Hollywood selection. She is being hailed as the next Tina Fey," Noer said.
Sommer, the executive director of the Chordoma Foundation which raises funds for research into chordoma, a rare, slow-growing bone cancer most commonly found in the spine, is another young achiever, according to Forbes.
Sommer created the foundation with his mother after being diagnosed with the disease while a student at Duke University in North Carolina.
"He was diagnosed with a rare type of bone cancer, dropped out of school to find a cure and he has made some progress," said Noer.
The full list will be published in the January 21 issue of Forbes and can also be found at www.forbes.com/under 30 .
